TEAMCARDLE are sorry to announce that due to an injury picked up in training Scott has been forced to withdraw from Saturdays British Title defence vs Gary Buckland.
Scott’s official statement.
“Absolutely devastated to announce I have had to withdraw from Saturday’s fight with Gary Buckland.
I was contemplating ignoring the physio’s advice to fight on Saturday because of the long hard camp i’ve had for this fight, but I am not willing to lose my British Title over an injury prior to the fight & as the champion, I know that I can’t be any less than 100%.
Sincere apologies to Gary Buckland, Sky Sports my promotor Eddie Hearn and all my supporters who had planned to be in Liverpool on Saturday night.” ….. Scott Cardle
